How FRF Serves Fondren

FRF serves Fondren as an advocate, convener, and hands-on community partner. From addressing everyday concerns to advancing long-term priorities, we work with residents, businesses, public officials, and other organizations to turn community needs into action. On any given week, that work may include:

  • Work with city departments and other partners to address infrastructure, maintenance, safety, and quality-of-life concerns.

  • Represent Fondren’s interests with local, state, and federal officials.

  • Convene residents, businesses, property owners, and community partners around shared needs and opportunities.

  • Advance major initiatives—from Fondren Forward and Eubanks Creek to streetscape improvements and thoughtful development.

  • Manage the Fondren Business Improvement District and oversee the programs and services it provides.

  • Steward The Cedars as a historic landmark, community gathering place, and event venue.
