Fondren Bottle Tree Garden Tour
Saturday, June 6, 2026
10:00 AM-4:00 PM
The fifth annual Fondren Bottle Tree Garden Tour celebrated what happens when a community opens its garden gates. Neighbors welcomed visitors and plant lovers into their personal gardens, shared the creativity, care, and character that make each space—and Fondren itself—distinctive.
What began as a small idea has blossomed into a beloved tradition and a vibrant reflection of the people who call Fondren home. Watch this space to get details on our 2027 tour.
Symphony at Sunset
Thank you, Fondren!
Chairs and blankets on the lawn, neighbors catching up, and music under the trees at The Cedars—thank you for being part of the 27th Annual Symphony at Sunset.
We’re grateful to all who came out on September 24 and to the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra for bringing the music. Fondren makes this evening special, year after year.
Our sponsors help keep Symphony at Sunset free and open to the neighborhood. A special thank-you to:
Burr & Forman — Presenting Sponsor
Meadowbrook Wealth Advisors of Raymond James — Symphony Sponsor
Sysco — Cedars Sponsor
Ross & Yerger — Magnolia Lounge Sponsor
Fertile Ground Beer Co, Fondren Public, and Alliance Business Services for their in-kind donations
To our volunteers, table hosts, vendors, and everyone who helped welcome guests and put the evening together: thank you for sharing your time and care.
Keep checking this page in 2027 for details about our next Symphony at Sunset. We look forward to another evening of music and neighbors at The Cedars!
Fondren Unwrapped & Holiday Parade
December 3-5, 2026
Holiday Parade: Friday evening, December 4
Fondren Unwrapped brings three days of holiday shopping, dining, entertainment, and neighborhood cheer to Fondren. Local merchants welcome shoppers with festive displays, special offerings, and seasonal experiences, while Fondren’s restaurants and gathering places give friends and families plenty of reasons to make a day—or an evening—of it. More than a shopping event, Unwrapped celebrates the independent businesses and community spirit that make Fondren distinctive.
The celebration continues Friday evening with the Fondren Holiday Parade, bringing neighbors, businesses, schools, and community groups together along the streets of Fondren. Interested in joining the parade with a float or group? Contact us to participate. Additional 2026 Unwrapped details are coming soon.
