FONDREN RENAISSANCE FOUNDATION
The Fondren Renaissance Foundation will act as a catalyst for the preservation and revitalization of the greater Fondren community, while empowering people, organizations, and neighborhoods to contribute to the economic growth, stability and quality of life in Fondren.

The Fondren Renaissance Foundation was officially formed on March 1, 2002 when two previous neighborhood organizations, functioning in the Fondren community as separate but partnering entities, agreed to merge their operations and unite for the betterment of our district. These previous organizations had served the Fondren area since 1996.
Fondren Renaissance Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is fully supported by contributions from Fondren residents, businesses, corporate donors and other friends interested in the community. All donations to the Foundation are 100% tax deductible as allowed by law. There are no membership dues required to participate in the activities of the Foundation or to benefit from the projects, programs and good works of our organization. To make a contribution to the Foundation online, please use the paypal link on the left side of the page.
Fondren residents, businesses and friends support the Foundation with their contributions. Established levels of giving are available through the Annual Fund. The Fondren Renaissance Society is made up of donors who commit to a gift of $1,000 a year over a three-year period. Donations support 100% of the work of the Foundation and its mission of promoting the Historic Fondren District. For more information on how you can support the Foundation, contact the Foundation office at 601.981.9606.

The foundation offices are housed in a charming, 1930’s Fondren cottage located at 3318 North State Street. This house is a part of a larger property graciously donated to the foundation by Renal Care, Inc. in October, 2001.
