First Thursday Happy Hour at Brown’s for February features Jackson artist

Brown’s Fine Art will show new paintings by renowned Jackson painter Elizabeth Johnson for its First Thursday Happy Hour at Brown’s on Thursday evening February 7, from 5-7 pm. Johnson’s florals and interiors have a distinctive style and have made her one of the most recognizable and collectible artists from Brown’s. Her acrylic paintings have garnered her numerous awards and hang in permanent collections around the country.
Marion Geissinger, a classical guitarist will provide music and McDade’s Market will provide cheese to go with the refreshments provided by McDade’s Wine and Spirits in Maywood Mart.

continue strolling along ringing the bell and waving at everyone who passes.
Stop fighting traffic and parking to take a ride on the Express.
The Fondren Express runs Monday – Saturday from 10:00 - 3:00 with
timely and frequent stops throughout Fondren. (All times below are approximate):
St. Dominic’s front entrance: Top & Bottom of the hour
Aladdin’s Mediterranean Grill: 5 & 35 minutes after the hour
Cups @ Rainbow Co-op: Every 10-12 minutes
Sal & Mookie’s at State Street: Every 10-12 minutes
Fondren Corner on State Street: Every 10-12 minutes
Millsaps Clock Tower: 15 & 45 minutes after the hour
