BOYD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Fondren Renaissance Foundation has been an “Adopt – A – School Partner” with Boyd Elementary School since 2002.  In that time, the Foundation has provided supplies, uniforms, meals, snacks, equipment, renovations and numerous volunteer hours for the only public school within Fondren.

In 2007, the Fondren Renaissance Foundation headed a campaign to remove carpet installed prior to the 1993 school year.  After removal, the floors were stained creating a more aesthetically pleasing look.  The Foundation also purchased and installed new curtains in the auditorium.  The old curtains did not operate properly and were badly ripped.  The new curtains are Royal Blue (Boyd's colors) with   "B E S" monogrammed in the center of the stage as seen above.

The Fondren Renaissance Foundation is proud of its commitment to Boyd Elementary School.  We look forward to a lasting relationship as grade school children throughout Fondren are educated.
